Acadian Millwork and Supply transitions with the new generation into Acadian Architectural Woodwork.

The north shore business community is undergoing several transitions as the
economy awakens from the COVID hiatus. Acadian has successfully operated on the
Northshore for over 40 years. Originally Acadian operated on Lafitte Street at
the Mandeville lakefront for 2 decades before moving to the current Ronald
Reagan Blvd faculty after Hurricane Katrina. Denny Paschall and Barry French,
our operating partners, were humbled by Katrina’s devastation. As they were
entering the decade to prepare for their retirement strategies, the partners
embarked upon their largest business expansion effort for their hometown
recovery.

The past 20 years have been filled with floods, hurricanes and recently
COVID supply chain drama. In 2016, Acadian lost Denny Perschall. The managing
partnership has been held by Karen Perschall, Don Perschall and Barry French. The Perschall
family is deciding to retire in this post COVID season. Barry French will
continue on with his sons inside Acadian Architectural Woodwork providing the
governing mantle as Partner Emeritus. Stephen French has served alongside the
original partners and developed the Baton Rouge market to make Acadian a truly
regional influence, It is with great respect for our past leadership and
admiration for the seasons they have navigated the firm. The dramatic circumstances
since 2005 has made the Acadian team a true family. Transitions are a natural
course for families as seasons take their tolls. Our originating partners have
served Acadian and South Louisiana homes with long suffering temperaments, wise
council, and eyes of integrity. As the most recent crisis is coming to a close., it is understandable that part of our
team will depart from our next venture to a well-earned retirement. This season has been delayed by so many chaotic
events that our partners have served for the need of our families,, friends and
community in the midst of great personal chaos. Thank you.

Acadian Architectural Woodwork will carry forward with the same integrity eye
on quality , and a heart for creative craftsmen into the next season. Our operating
team is staying intact. We look forward to continuing to MATERIALIZING YOUR
DREAMS as Louisiana families recover.
